Welcome to Sequoia Preschool and
Kindergarten. I'm pleased to
be the Director at Sequoia Preschool
and Kindergarten, and I believe very strongly in this school. I
have found the school to be exceptional in the staff,
curriculum, students and families.
I'm a firm believer that preschool provides
an opportunity for children to gain socialization skills as well
as to learn academic skills. Preschool also needs to provide an
environment where children are able to build self-esteem, learn
verbal conflict resolution skills as well as develop confidence
in themselves. These are life long skills from which the
children will benefit. In addition to benefits for the
children, a preschool is a teaching ground for new parents to
learn about their child's development, gain new parenting skills
through parent education discussions and to understand the
importance of becoming advocates for their child's education.
At Sequoia Preschool and Kindergarten, I am
proud to say that we provide a well-rounded program for every
child who attends. We work closely with the parents and are
always open to parent participation. Please feel free to
